Industrial workshop organized by the company RAFAEL in Haifa
The beneficiaries of QUANTIFY participated in the organization, and attended, an industrial workshop organized by the company RAFAEL (in Haifa, on 7 February 2018) within the framework of the MSCA-ITN-ETN OUTCOME, in which three of the beneficiaries of QUANTIFY also participate. Members of RAFAEL expose problems that they face within the framework of structural engineering, and showed us their research facilities. This meeting served to promote our research plan within the industrial sector, trying to get links and ideas that will be useful to apply our research in practical problems. QUANTIFY WITH INDUSTRY!!

Nonlinear Solid Mechanics Group
The NSM group, formed by 3 researchers and 4 PhD students, is part of the Department of Continuum Mechanics and Structural Analysis at the University Carlos III of Madrid. Research lines include mechanical characterization at high strain rates, formulation of constitutive theories and analytical models for instabilities in ductile materials, nonlinear vibration in elastic structures, etc. The group has 5 on-going competitive grants, 2 National and 3 European, including an ERC Starting Grant.
